I am a cultural manager and multidisciplinary artist passionate about arts education and committed to the social and cultural inclusion of all.
Viviana Díaz
Since 2005, I have had the privilege of working with children, teenagers, and adults, conducting workshops and training courses where creativity, visual arts, children’s literature, and multisensory experiences converge and interact.
In 2011, I co-founded the Tactus Foundation in Bogotá, Colombia, a non-profit publishing house specializing in the creation and distribution of tactile illustrated books for visually impaired children. At Tactus, I have trained educational, artistic, and cultural professionals in more than 15 cities across Colombia.
My initial training in Visual Arts in Colombia was later complemented with studies in Social Communication with a focus on publishing and a Specialization in Cultural Management. I then pursued a Master’s degree in Cultural Mediation, Heritage, and New Media. After completing my internship in Beijing, I relocated to France in 2015 with my family.
Passionate partners
My research explores child development, pedagogy, the arts and free play. My method is based on five fundamental pillars: creativity, autonomy, experimentation, collaboration and citizen participation. These pillars gave birth to the Atelier des 5 Soleils in 2021.
With solid foundations and passionate minds, alongside a team of committed volunteers and dedicated institutional partners, we plant seeds of creativity, joy and wonder in children of all ages. Our common goal: to put art and culture at the heart of our lives.
